Over the past 12 months, the Make D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force has delivered monumental results for the security of our nation’s capital. Members of 44 federal agencies, including the #FBI, along with nearly 5,000 National Guardsmen from 19 states have combated those seeking to create chaos and endanger the lives of the District's residents, workers, and visitors. This summer alone, homicides have plummeted 50% and robberies are down 42% thanks to this historic collaboration. When laws are enforced, our communities are safer.
