A 22-year-old crypto scam ringleader is pleading guilty in a staggering $245 million crypto theft case that prosecutors say stretched around the world. Authorities say Malone Lam and his co-conspirators targeted victims' crypto wallets using social engineering and hacked information, while some members of the operation even resorted to breaking into homes. Prosecutors say the stolen fortune helped fund private jets, luxury cars, high-end watches, designer handbags and multimillion-dollar rental homes. Lam pleads guilty to participating in a RICO conspiracy and is due back in federal court in December. @DanaPerino @AmericaNewsroom ▻
