A retired flight attendant is finishing something he started years ago on foot, for the crews who never came home on 9/11. Retired United Airlines flight attendant Paul “Paulie” Veneto has spent the past several years honoring the flight crews lost on 9/11 in a remarkable way. On foot, he’s pushed an airline beverage cart along routes connected to the four hijacked planes. This year, he’s making his final trek from Boston to Ground Zero. By the time he arrives today on September 11, Paulie will have pushed that cart more than ONE THOUSAND miles in their honor.
