This morning, members of the Dallas Police Department joined community leaders at the Museum of Biblical Art to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Assistant Director Allison Hudson, Deputy Chief Monica Igo, and Major Pollyanna Ashford represented DPD and shared reflections as we honored the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who answered the call, and the families forever impacted. Additionally this past week,Dallas officers also joined other first responders in the Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, honoring the fallen responders’ memory and sacrifice. Twenty-five years later, we remember their sacrifice, courage, and service. We will never forget. 👩🏽‍🚒👮🏾🇺🇸
