Twenty-five years after Stephen Siller ran toward danger on 9/11, his family follows the path he never returned from. Frank Siller and other members of the fallen FDNY firefighter's family walked through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel and toward Ground Zero, retracing Stephen's final journey on the 25th anniversary of the attacks. The emotional tribute also marked the end of Tunnel to Towers' Steel Across America tour, which carried a 21-foot, 16,900-pound piece of World Trade Center steel more than 10,500 miles across the country before bringing it home to New York. What began with one firefighter's sacrifice has grown into a mission serving fallen first responder families, Gold Star families and catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, while keeping the promise to never forget September 11, 2001.
