WATCH: Chilling surveillance video shows the moment ER nurse Yanira Eguileor is punched in the head three times and thrown to the floor after stepping in to protect a colleague from a violent patient at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Eguileor says the patient turned on her when she tried to stop him from attacking another staff member. She is now suing the hospital, alleging inadequate security failed to protect employees during the violent attack. Jackson Memorial says four public safety specialists are assigned to its emergency department around the clock, with two off-duty sheriff's deputies also on campus at all times. ▻
