You're going to... Atlanta. After more than two decades in Hollywood, "American Idol" is packing up and moving production to Georgia for its 25th season. And money appears to be a major factor. Georgia offers qualifying reality productions tax credits of up to 30%, while "Idol" did not qualify for California's incentive program. It's not the only major Hollywood name looking beyond California. Paramount CEO David Ellison has also raised the possibility of moving the company out of the state as he battles California officials over the Warner Bros. Discovery deal. "American Idol" is expected to begin its Atlanta era with the new season in 2027. Get more on “American Idol” moving production to Atlanta with the Fox News app. Download here: ▻
