We are excited to unveil that @​EPB Chattanooga—an electric utility in Chattanooga, TN—has built the world's first commercial quantum computing and quantum networking hub in the U.S. Local businesses and companies across Chattanooga and Tennessee will be developing, testing and deploying quantum technologies along with a growing network of development partners including @​UTChattanooga and @​VanderbiltU. The hub’s first project—running quantum algorithms to optimize local power grid circuits—will be led by EPB’s Quantum Computing Fellows program and funded by a $4 million grant from the @​NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
