🐾 The Dog Nobody Wanted — And the Woman Who Never Gave Up For over a year, Aspen the husky lived in an outdoor shelter kennel, enduring 105-degree heat with no bed to call her own. Then Melody Nosworthy saw her photo online and just knew. One problem: Melody lives in Arizona, and her health limitations meant she couldn't make the drive to California. So a volunteer pilot flew Aspen to her instead. What Melody didn't share right away is that she's had her own second chance. A freak accident left her with dysautonomia, years in a power wheelchair, and doctors telling her she'd never walk again. She proved them wrong — and dogs were part of every step of that journey.
