Eliana, a helicopter reporter for NBCLA, tragically died in a news helicopter crash last week alongside pilot George Marciniw. A third person on the ground, Edy Gutierrez Mejia. 29, was also killed in the crash. Moreno and Marciniw logged hundreds of hours together in the sky, flying together since 2023.
