JUST IN: Texas prosecutors are taking the death penalty off the table in the Lee Gilley case, which could clear the way for his extradition from Italy, @Brooketaylortv reports. The 39-year-old fled the U.S. after being charged with the murder of his pregnant wife, Christa. Gilley was arrested at a Milan airport, but an Italian court had blocked his extradition because Italy does not allow the death penalty and wanted to guarantee that Gilley would not face execution back home.
