Stanford just got caught using AI to swap a Hispanic student out of a promotional photo and replace him with a Black woman. Billy Ramirez says he was "immediately baffled" when a friend sent him the altered image. Then he looked closer. "Seeing my identity changed and being left out of the picture made me feel, in a way, silenced and erased from a representation that was supposed to include me."
