On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to the 5600 block of Spring Valley Road regarding a report of a man calling for help outside an apartment complex. The first officer located the man in a creek nearby, and found that he was unresponsive. With the assistance of a passerby, the officer performed CPR until additional officers and Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedics were able to continue life-saving efforts and transport the man to the hospital in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, and is documented under case number 140064-2026. ▻
