CURFEW ⏰ Heading downtown? Know the hours before you go, especially for First Friday. For unaccompanied minors under 18, the downtown enhanced curfew is 9 p.m.–5 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, legal holidays and New Year’s Eve. This enhanced area applies to the downtown section bordered by Maryland Parkway, Bridger Avenue, Main Street and Stewart Avenue, shown on the map, including the Fremont Street Experience. Elsewhere in the City of Las Vegas, school-year curfew hours are: ✔️ Sunday–Thursday: 10 p.m.–5 a.m. ✔️ Friday–Saturday: midnight–5 a.m. During CCSD summer vacation and school holidays, general curfew hours are midnight–5 a.m. Parents and guardians: know your child’s plans and location. Go together. Stay together. Exceptions include accompaniment by a parent, guardian or adult with legal care, custody and control, or being on lawful business or engaged in a lawful occupation. A city special-event permit must specifically waive LVMC 10.54.015 for the general citywide curfew to apply instead. Curfew violations may result in a citation, fines, being escorted out of the area, or being detained while a parent or guardian is contacted.
