A 7-year-old girl was walking with her teenage sister when police say a woman suddenly lunged at the teen, grabbed the child, and stabbed her several times in the back. Witnesses chased down 48-year-old Shavon Gayden and knocked her unconscious before she was arrested. 7-year-old Eddimar Hernandez was rushed to the hospital, where she is pronounced dead. “My daughter’s death should not be left like this. There must be justice for my little girl. She wasn’t bothering anyone,” Eddimar’s mother said. @​ToddPiro reports police have not released a motive, but Gayden had an outstanding arrest warrant and is described as a repeat offender with a history of violent attacks.
