HONORING A FALLEN HERO Today, we unveiled Officer Austin Zade Abdelnabi’s portrait on the Wall of Honor at LVMPD Headquarters, honoring his life, his service, and the ultimate sacrifice he made for the Las Vegas community on August 4, 2026. Officer Abdelnabi's wife, Sage, and his family joined us for this moment as we added his portrait to a place reserved for those whose service and sacrifice will forever be part of our department’s history. Sheriff Kevin McMahill made a promise to Officer Abdelnabi’s family that we will never forget him. That promise is one we carry with us every day. These portraits ensure that future generations of LVMPD employees and visitors will know his name and remember the officer who gave everything in service to others.
